After having two female Ridgebacks, we started searching for a male pup with the potential to grow out as an excellent dog.
We searched for a pup with very good angulations and a well balanced and not too heavy body. We also looked for healthy and breed specific parents with excellent characters.
We reviewed the announced litters in Europe every week. And after a long search and having a lot of patience we finally found a combination at Zaxxon’s kennel in Sweden that we like.
The breeder (Lotta Malmborg) was so kind to give us the first choice out of male pups. We visited her twice to look for the puppies. The last time the pups were 7,5 week and we made our selection. It was clear that puppy “Mr. Green” would be renamed to Davidoff and came with us to Holland. We are very thankful to Lotta for having Delightful Davidoff.
Davidoff is an outstanding, very gentle male with a lovely cool, intelligent and relaxed character. He has also a great willingness to learn and ‘work’. He likes to carry sticks etc. His body has good proportions and he has great angulations.
We have been showing Davi several times in the puppy class and have great expectations with him in showing him in future.
